Kasm is a cosmic black metal band formed in 2021, bridging Brazil and Canada through a shared vision of vast soundscapes and existential depth. Known for melodic riffs, haunting melodies, and lyrics that explore cosmic and philosophical themes, Kasm channels both aggression and transcendence. Their music reflects a search for meaning of the unknown - where celestial nothingness meets the immensity of space and the human condition.
"Gravitational Echoes" picks up where our debut EP left off, pushing further into simplicity, speed, and weight while delivering longer compositions that form a more cohesive narrative. Though the record is short, three tracks spanning 35 minutes, it ventures into new sonic territory and writing style beyond Lux Obscurata. The result is an atmospheric soundscape shaped by a heavier and consuming production in the vein of Wolves in the Throne Room, Mare Cognitum and Spectral Wound
