Blaze Of Perdition belong to the spearhead of Polish black metal, and the band underlines this position with their sixth album Upharsin.

The band takes a step towards a more orthodox black metal approach.

Musically, Upharsin is a step back from the somewhat unusual direction the band took on The Harrowing of Hearts. A rather gloomy and pessimistic undertone is reflected in the appropriately opressive music. Haunting and melancholic melodies rooted in traditional black metal meet relentless blastbeats and solemn marches, while the emotive but ferocious vocals aim to convey an appropriate sense of rage and loathing.
